The Phefeni resource centre is known to most as the Intel clubhouse and has a focus on exposing young people to the latest
technology resources. The centre is in Phefeni, Orlando west in Soweto.
The centre also offers life skills and community services.
- ICTAGE :Southern African Association of Youth Clubs (SAAYC) implements a comprehensive information communication technology programme is aimed at giving young people skills to use computer technology in everyday life to develop new social and economic opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Ictage programme seeks to introduce young people to IT to boost growth, fostering innovation, and aiding in job creation. The programme targets young people at the entry-level of IT through our CISCO accredited academy we offer courses modules such as IoT, IT Essentials Software and Hardware and Intro to Cyber Security.
- Educational Support Programme :This programme is designed to assist learners in creating an enabling environment that will aid them in doing their assignments, homework and prepare for their tests and exams.
- Clubhouse The Computer Clubhouse provides a creative and safe after-school learning environment where young people from undeserved communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop skills and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology
- Life Skills : Life skills programmes are developed to give advice to the vulnerable youth, youth at risk, underprivileged youth and young people in general on various subjects that can make them live a meaningful life, achieve their goals, deal with social and emotional challenges and be responsible and accountable citizen of South Africa
